On 11th May, 2024, Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Industry Company organized the launching of a new 65,000 ton cargo vessel for the ship's owner, Dong Bac Shipbuilding Industry JSC.
The vessel was designed by Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering JSC (Visec) in partnership with Bluetech Company (Finland) with many superior features compared to similar type.
The vessel is designed with modern features to minimize resistance, optimize fuel consumption, and reduce emissions, achieving an optimal lightweight, satisfying the tough requirements of the port authorities in the US, Europe and Australia.
This is the 1st ship in a set of two 65,000-ton ships ordered by Dong Bac Shipbuilding Industry Company, being the largest shipbuilding project ever designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers, affirming the increasing improvement in technical capacity, technology, skills and shipbuilding construction level of Vietnam shipbuilding industry.
