On June 18, 2026, at Ha Long Shipbuilding Company Limited, the launching ceremony of the 45,000 DWT bulk carrier No. 2, named Truong Minh 06, was solemnly held with the participation of representatives from the investor, the design unit, the classification society, and related partners.
In this project, VISEC continued as the design unit, collaborating with partners to develop a modern bulk carrier line that fully meets international technical standards and operational requirements. The Truong Minh 06 is a double-bottom, single-hull bulk carrier, powered by a diesel engine and a single propeller, optimally designed for international maritime transport, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and environmental friendliness. Construction items were implemented synchronously and strictly inspected and accepted according to the design documents.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Chi – Director of Dong Bac Shipbuilding Industry Joint Stock Company, said: the operation of vessel No. 1, designed by VISEC in a joint venture with Bluetech (Finland), has proven that the 45,000 DWT vessel possesses a modern design, superior speed, emission quality, and efficiency. Fuel consumption efficiency. The ship helps save approximately 20-30% on fuel compared to similar ships currently on the market, while also meeting the stringent requirements of many international ports.
